While I was looking into the Collectormania Convention, I noticed that there was another version of of the Collectormania in Manchester next weekend (11th and 12th). It is too late to prebook the tickets, but i was planning on going with a few people, and wondered if anyone from Cult TV would be interested in going. The tickets are either £10 (Early birds can get in at 9 am) or £5 (for a standard ticket entrance time 10 am). I am looking into the price for transport at the moment but it will about another £10. You will also need to bring money to make purchases, autographs and eat food (if you so wish). More information can be found here www.collectormaniagmex.co.uk/Will talk on Monday about meeting up, transport prices, and other things.

FINAL DETAILS
The Train to Manchester leaves Bradford Interchange at 8:31am this Saturday. If you wish to come to the event, you will need to pay for the train ticket, and be there for that train. The Society will be paying the entrance fee for the event, as long as you bring your society membership card.
Autographs are an additional fee of between £5 and £25, and any food, collectbles, autographs that you wish to purchase you will need to pay for yourself.
At the moment we don't know what the arrangement is for coming home again in the afternoon/evening, but i imagine it will probably be a case of groups of people leave when they want. Being there late is usually a good thing, as the queues become shorter, but it does mean you need to entertain yourself there for longer, which may not be that easy depending on what the event is like. Bear in mind the celebrities will be giving free talks throughout the day and it may be worthwhile to plan ahead if you wish to attend such a talk.
Please also remember that we haven't been able to pre-book any tickets, and therefore we are not guarnteed entry. If it turns out that there is a problem with the tickets then all I can say is that i am very sorry, and i hope that you will understand it is nothing to do with the society. Manchester has plenty of interesting sights to look around and hopefully it won't come to that.
